Using Report Key Fields in the Advantage Submittal & Report Tool

Feature: Report Key Fields

Environment: Comsense Advantage (Version 21.1.100.094 and later), Advantage Submittal & Report Tool

How it works:

A key field is a placeholder text that auto-populates text parameter fields with the appropriate system data at the time of report generation. Comsense uses key fields to automate a portion of the report-generation process.

The following reports use key fields to automatically pull data from the project:

  • All Cover Sheets
  • Bid Proposal
  • Quote Request
  • Hardware Preamble
  • Door and Frame Preamble
  • Submittal Templates

To use the key fields, copy and paste the key fields from the table below into the appropriate parameter field in the Report Management window or at the time of report generation. Always include the brackets { } and use capital letters for the key field name.
