Microsoft Word Settings for Use with Comsense Software

Many of the reports in Comsense Enterprise are generated using Microsoft Word. There are some settings that need to be adjusted from their defaults in order for the report creation process to complete successfully.

Open e-mail attachments and other uneditable files in reading view

1. Open the Word Options window (File > Options).
2. Clear the checkbox for Open e-mail attachments and other uneditable files in reading view.
3. Click Ok.
   
   

File Block Settings

1. Open the Word Options window (File > Options).
2. Click Trust Center.
3. Click Trust Center Settings.
   
   
   
   
4. Click File Block Settings.
5. Uncheck for the Word 2 and earlier Binary Documents and Templates.
   
   
   
   
6. Click Ok twice.
7. Close Word.
