Enhancements
Advantage UI Updated
Several enhancements have been made to the Advantage UI in this release:
- Open windows are now docked and tabbed for improved usability and ease of toggling between them. Previously while working with multiple open windows, the windows would be undocked and stacked on top of each other.
- The grids are now autofit enabled so the system allows the users to dynamically adjust the column and row sizes depending on the content entered in the grid cells.
- The UI theme has been modernized in look and feel. The layout and style of UI has been enhanced significantly to improve the user experience and performance.
Project Pricing and Purchase Order Management Optimized
The following processes improvements to project pricing and purchase order management are included in this release:
- Project Pricing: The project pricing process has been improved resulting in reduced loading time of the Pricing window for Estimating and Detailing Projects.
- Purchase Order Management: The Purchase Order Management window now loads quickly, significantly reducing the wait time for other users of the system. Users were affected previously due to the delays caused by slow processing of a large amount of data in the Purchase Order Management window.
Bug Fixes
- In this release, an issue associated with printing reports in which the “Ship To” addresses did not have a State assigned to them has been corrected. Previously, in such a scenario, system crashes would occur when attempting to print the affected reports. The bug has been fixed and now such an aberration no longer causes the reporting engine to crash.
- An issue with deduct cost groups in change orders when using Automatic Section Breakout has been corrected in the release. Earlier, when a user's project was configured to use the Automatic Section Breakout function, and they ran a change order that removed products from the project, the products that were removed would get added into the wrong cost groups. The error has been rectified, and now all products removed by a change order go back into their respective cost groups.
