How to: Create reports using the new Submittal and Advantage Report tool.

You can access the Reports window under the Estimating menu and the Detailing menu. Always access the Reports window under the correct menu to ensure you create the correct report.

Creating a Report
You can only create one report at a time for a single project in the Reports window.
Setting Up the Report
In the Report window:
- Open your project
In the Available Reports pane:
- Select the report type
- The Report Parameters pane will populate
In the Parameters pane:
- Select the value for each parameter
Sorting the Report Information
The sort by column is the first line item listed in the Sort pane. The values in the sort by column are sorted alphabetically e.g. if the first column is MFG, the report will sort the list by manufacturer in alphabetical order. If there are no sortable values, the Sort pane remains blank.
Setting the Sort By Column
In the Sort pane, Drag & Drop the sort column line item using the Select button.
Setting the Sort Order
The values within the sort by column are listed in ascending order (A-Z) by default. To sort in descending order (Z-A), uncheck the Ascending checkbox.
Exporting the Report
In the top tool bar, Select your preferred export method e.g. Preview, Quick Print, Email etc.
