About the Elevation Detail Library

Comsense has a library of 1100 detail drawings for elevations and door elevations. The details include a variety of frame profiles, anchors, and glazing cross-sections. The default detail codes are outlined in the article Frame, Anchor, and Glazing Detail Library. You can add your own detail drawings to the library and/or rename the included detail drawings at any time using a similar procedure.

Accessing the Image Creator

Advantage > Tools > Image Creator

Opening the Detail Drawing to Rename

If you are saving your own detail drawing, Draw the new detail and proceed with Saving the Detail Drawing.

In the Image Creator:

1. Click File
2. Hover over Open
3. Click Detail

In the Open Detail window:

4. Double-click the Detail Drawing line item

The detail drawing is now open and you can save the detail drawing with a new name.

Saving the Detail Drawing

In the Image Creator:

1. Click File
2. Click Save

In the Save Detail window:

3. Enter the detail name
   • The name displays before the caption
4. Enter the detail caption
   • The caption displays after the name

5. Click Save

The detail drawing is now saved in the Elevation Detail Library.
