Preparing for the Update

Users

Before applying an Opening Suite update on a remote desktop you must:

  • Ensure all users are logged out
  • Log in to the remote desktop as a user with admin rights

Task Manager

In the remote desktop:

  1. Right-click the taskbar
  2. Click Task Manager

In the Task Manager window:

  1. Click the Details tab

  1. Find Comsense.exe and Enterprise.exe

On the Comsense.exe and Enterprise.exe line items:

  1. Right-click
  2. Click End Task

Applying the Client Update

To update the Opening Suite client, you must run the program as an administrator. 

In the remote desktop:

  1. Right-click on the Comsense Opening Suite icon
  2. Click Run as Administrator

  1. Log in to Opening Suite
  2. Apply the Updates to Opening Suite
