Overview

This article includes the latest version of the ASSA ABLOY Door and Frame EDI program. 

Current Versions:

AssaDoorFrame_EDI.exe   Oct 10, 2024
Minimum Comsense Program Version    24.3.100.243

Installing the ASSA ABLOY Door and Frame EDI Application

New Installation

For first-time installations of the ASSA ABLOY Door and Frame EDI application, follow the steps below:

    1. Download this file: AssaDoorFrame_EDI.zip
    2. In your Common Folder, create the following folder structure: \EDI\AssaDF\
      Note: See the article Electronic Ordering Folder Setup for our recommended folder layouts.
    3. Extract the AssaDoorFrame_EDI.zip file into the folder created in Step 2.
    4. Contact Comsense Support to schedule an appointment to configure the EDI Application setting.

Existing Installation

To Update an existing installation of the ASSA ABLOY Door and Frame EDI application, follow the steps below:

    1. Download this file: AssaDoorFrame_EDI.exe
    2. Copy the downloaded file.
    3. Navigate to \EDI\AssaDF\ in your Common folder.
    4. Paste the downloaded file into this folder, accepting the prompts to overwrite the existing file.
