Bug Fixes

  • In the Comsense Opening Suite home page, the issue related to incorrect syncing and inaccurate display of completed and deleted projects/activities in Today's window is resolved. Previously, activities that were set to deleted remained unsynced with the Past Due window incorrectly reflecting their status in the Today's window. Now when the windows are open, the activities and project details are displayed appropriately.

  • The Delivery Zone field of a shipment record is now populated with the value configured in the Customer Ship To address. Previously, the Delivery Zone value was not being fetched from the default configured value.
  • The Note column of a Pool Stock Open window can now be used to search for a Pool Stock Transaction. Previously, the system would not execute such a search and the system would display an Exception error.
  • When a user filters using the checked flag for the exterior column in the Shipment wizard, the results now include only the checked values. Earlier the filtering results also included the unchecked values.
  • In the Estimating Project window, the Location A field on the Master Schedule grid now allows both autofill and manually entering and selecting of the values.  Previously, the Location A allowed autofilling the first option but restricted users from continued typing to choose more items.
  • On alternating between the status of price books from first previous to then current, all tabs within the Pricing window now update the costing to match the selected price book. Previously, changing the price book status between previous and current did not update the costing in the project pricing tab immediately.
  • The attributes and property values of a duplicated door now exactly with the properties of the orginal door. Previously, copying a door in the Door worksheet window did not copy the property values properly.
  • The New Customer button is now enabled only for those users who have the required security permissions to create a new customer record. Previously, users without the appropriate security permissions were also able to create a new customer record through the Sales Order window.
  • Adding miscellaneous items to sales orders now either displays the value 0.00 in the Shipped column or an error message specifying the actual root cause of the error to help users fix it. Previously, sales orders flagged as Counter Sales displayed a generic error message when adding miscellaneous items from the Copy Templates utility.
  • While adding hardware sets with a double-opening type such as AI or AA, the quantity on the default preps and Doors is now correctly populated as 1 and not 2 as was the case earlier. Previously, when a user created a hardware set for a double opening such as AI or AA, the default preps associated with the product automatically populated a quantity of 2. This quantity was then incorrectly duplicated on the Doors.
  • Users can no longer edit notes in the Installation Worksheet tab of the Pricing window but can do so only from the Installation Operations window. Previously, users could also edit notes from the Installation Worksheet tab but the notes would be reset while switching between tabs.
  • The Comsense system now allows users to remove the application from Preps. Previously, attempting to remove the application from preps would fail and the system would display an error when trying to save the changes.
  • A Description Rebuild is now triggerred every time there is a change in the Inhouse Labor window and the user saves or closes the window. Previously, Description Rebuild would not get triggerred on using the Update Labor Cost by Hourly Rate feature, thereby causing the pricing information in Comsense Enterprise to not get updated.
  • For adding Door Description Codes to a Door Class, all entries now must be selected manually in the Door Description Picker. Previously, the system incorrectly selected the topmost entry in the Door Descripion Picker automatically when the Door Class already had existing Door Descriptions associated with it.

  • The Frames Kits are now displaying valid attributes based on the filtering applied. Previously, in a Frame Takeoff Entry with the Show Only Valid Attributes checkbox selected while using a frame description (for example, SGL) with multiple components (such as  HJ, SJ, HDR) , all the attributes would still be displayed in the attribute list and the validation would only be done upon making the selection.
  • A discrepancy while navigating through the Component Costing tab rows in the Pricing window using keyboard arrow keys has been fixed. Previously when working on the Component Costing tab, the cursor used to skip rows and move 2 rows down instead of 1 row on pressing the Enter key.

  • The Project Import Utility now opens up without any error. Previously, an error was encountered while importing a project in the Opening Suite.
  • The Catalog & Miscellaneous Import Utility is now successfully able to import inhouse labor catalog files in the Labor Master window. Previously, the system displayed an error while importing ILPA.txt files and the import action would fail.
  • The following options are added to the right-click menu of the Select a Change Order dialog box to improve the placement and readability of the grid contents:
      • Autofit Columns
      • Advanced Grid Layout
      • Reset Column Layout
  • Fixed the issue of costing process running twice on clicking the Pricing and Approve C/O button in the Complete window. Costing now runs only once when opening the Pricing window.
  • A Cancel button is now added to the Change Order Selection dialog box in the Pricing window to enable closing the window. The button was missing earlier and the user needed to cancel the loading of the parent window to close the dialog box.
  • Records that are created and deleted in the tabs of the Alternate Manufacturers Names window now get synced in real time. Previously, records had to be added and deleted manually in the first tab of the window even if the backend was updated.
